Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Choose optimal mounting location.

  1. Mount camera: Use included bracket and screws; ensure stable surface.
  2. Connect network: Use Cat5e or higher Ethernet cable to PoE switch/injector.
  3. Power connection: Use PoE (802.3af) or 12V DC power adapter.
  4. Adjust angle: Loosen adjustment screws, aim camera, then tighten.

WARNING! Ensure power is off during installation. Use appropriate weatherproofing for outdoor connections.

First-Time Setup

Power on camera; use Vageo Security App or web interface for initial configuration.

  1. Install microSD card: Insert into slot (optional for local recording).
  2. Connect to network: Camera will obtain IP via DHCP automatically.
  3. Access camera: Use Vageo Security App to scan QR code or enter IP manually.
  4. Set admin password: Create strong password during first login.

Network Configuration
