Safety Instructions

Read all instructions before installation and operation.

  1. Disconnect power: Always turn off power at circuit breaker before installation or maintenance.
  2. Qualified installer: Installation should be performed by qualified electrician only.
  3. Proper mounting: Ensure mounting surface can support at least 4 times the fixture weight.
  4. Environmental limits: Do not install in ambient temperature exceeding 40°C (104°F).
  5. Waterproof integrity: Verify all seals are properly tightened to maintain IP65 rating.

WARNING! Risk of electric shock. Do not open housing while powered. Ensure proper grounding.

Installation Guide

Unpack and inspect contents. Verify all parts are included and undamaged.

  1. Choose location: Select appropriate mounting height (typically 5-15 meters).
  2. Prepare mounting surface: Ensure surface is flat, clean, and structurally sound.
  3. Mount bracket: Use provided hardware to secure mounting bracket to surface.
  4. Wire connection: Connect wires according to wiring diagram (Section 6).
  5. Attach fixture: Secure fixture to bracket using safety cable as backup.
  6. Adjust angle: Loosen adjustment screws, aim fixture, then retighten.
  7. Power test: Restore power and verify operation.

CAUTION! Fixture is heavy; use appropriate lifting equipment or two-person lift.

  1. Turn off power at main circuit breaker.
  2. Remove wiring compartment cover by loosening screws.
  3. Connect wires using wire nuts or terminal blocks provided.
  4. Ensure no exposed conductors; all connections secure.
  5. Replace cover and tighten all screws to maintain IP65 rating.

Tip: Use appropriate gauge wire (minimum 14 AWG for branch circuit).

Mounting Options

Multiple mounting configurations available:

  1. Surface Mount: Direct to ceiling or beam using included bracket.
  2. Pendant Mount: Use optional pendant kit (sold separately).
  3. Trunnion Mount: For angled mounting on vertical surfaces.
  4. Chain Suspension: Using safety cable as secondary support.

Mounting Hardware Included: Mounting bracket, M8 bolts (4), spring washers (4), flat washers (4), nuts (4), safety cable with clip.

WARNING! Always use safety cable as backup, especially in seismic zones.

Operation & Dimming

For models with dimming capability (check product label).

  1. Standard operation: Connect to power; fixture turns on automatically.
  2. Dimming operation: Requires compatible 0-10V dimmer controller.
  3. Dimming range: 10%-100% of full brightness.
  4. Multiple fixtures: Connect dimming wires in parallel for synchronized control.
  5. No-dimming models: Operate at full brightness only.

Note: Some flickering at very low dimming levels (<10%) is normal.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Disconnect power completely before any maintenance.
  2. Exterior cleaning: Use soft cloth with mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  3. Glass cleaning: Use glass cleaner and soft cloth. Avoid scratching surface.
  4. Seal inspection: Check rubber gaskets annually for cracks or deterioration.
  5. Housing inspection: Look for corrosion, damage, or loose components.
