Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure proper mounting surface.

  1. Mounting: Use provided brackets to secure driver to stable surface.
  2. AC Connection: Connect live (L) and neutral (N) wires to input terminals.
  3. DC Connection: Connect positive (+) and negative (-) wires to output terminals.
  4. Grounding: Connect ground wire to ground terminal if required.
  5. Secure all connections and ensure proper wire gauge is used.

WARNING! Disconnect power before installation. Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated.

First-Time Setup

Power on driver; check status indicator.

  1. Power Connection: Ensure proper AC voltage (100-277V) is supplied.
  2. Load Connection: Connect LED load to output terminals observing polarity.
  3. Power On: Apply AC power; green LED should illuminate.
  4. Load Test: Verify LED load operates correctly at full brightness.
  5. Thermal Check: Ensure adequate ventilation around driver.

CAUTION! Do not exceed maximum load capacity. Ensure proper heat dissipation.

Specifications

Controls and Settings

No user-adjustable controls. Status indicator only.

Status LED: Green - normal operation; Red - fault condition; Off - no power.

Terminal Connections: - Input: L (Live), N (Neutral), GND (Ground) - Output: V+ (Positive), V- (Negative)

Mounting: Use provided brackets for wall or surface mounting.

Connecting Devices

Connect LED strips or modules to output terminals.

  1. Calculate total load: Ensure sum of connected LEDs ≤ 100W.
  2. Parallel Connection: Connect multiple LED strips in parallel to maintain 24V.
  3. Wire Gauge: Use minimum 18 AWG for lengths up to 5 meters.
  4. Polarity: Observe correct polarity (V+ to LED+, V- to LED-).
  5. Waterproofing: Use IP67 connectors for outdoor applications.

Tip: Test each connection before final installation.

Operation Modes

Constant voltage operation only.

  1. Normal Operation: Green LED illuminated, output stable at 24V DC.
  2. Load Variation: Output maintains 24V regardless of load changes (within limits).
  3. Thermal Management: Automatic power reduction if temperature exceeds limits.
  4. Protection Modes: Automatic shutdown in fault conditions with red LED indicator.

WARNING! Do not attempt to modify output voltage. Not designed for dimming applications.

Protection Features

Multiple protection mechanisms ensure safe operation.

ProtectionDescriptionResponse
Short CircuitOutput short detectedAutomatic shutdown, red LED
OverloadLoad exceeds 110% rated powerCurrent limiting, thermal protection
Over-voltageInput voltage > 277V ACAutomatic shutdown
Over-temperatureInternal temperature > 85°CPower reduction or shutdown
Surge Protection4kV line to line, 6kV line to groundAbsorbs surge energy

Care & Maintenance

Disconnect power before maintenance. Regular inspection recommended.

  1. Cleaning: Use dry cloth only; do not use liquids or chemicals.
  2. Inspection: Check terminals for corrosion every 6 months.
  3. Ventilation: Ensure ventilation openings are not blocked.
  4. Load Check: Verify connected load does not exceed rating.

CAUTION! Do not open casing. No user-serviceable parts inside.
