Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure mounting surface can support fixture weight.

  1. Turn off power: Disconnect power at circuit breaker before installation.
  2. Mount fixture: Use provided brackets to secure to ceiling, wall, or pendant.
  3. Wire connections: Connect line/neutral wires to terminal block (brown/blue).
  4. Secure lens: Attach polycarbonate lens using provided screws.
  5. Restore power: Turn on circuit breaker after installation complete.

WARNING! Installation must be performed by qualified electrician. Ensure proper grounding.

First-Time Setup

After installation, configure light settings for optimal performance.

  1. Select color temperature: Use DIP switches inside housing to choose 3000K/4000K/5000K.
  2. Configure dimming: Connect 0-10V dimmer wires if dimming functionality required.
  3. Test operation: Turn on power and verify light output.
  4. Adjust angle: Loosen bracket screws to aim light as needed, then retighten.

CAUTION! Do not open housing while powered. Allow to cool before handling.

Specifications

Controls and Settings

Internal DIP switches control operational parameters. No external controls on fixture.

DIP Switch Settings: Located inside junction box. Switch 1: Color temperature selection (ON=3000K, OFF=4000K). Switch 2: Dimming enable/disable. Switch 3: Emergency battery backup enable (if equipped). Switch 4: Test mode.

Dimming: Connect compatible 0-10V dimmer to purple/gray wires. Dimming range 10-100%.

Thermal Protection: Automatic output reduction at high temperatures.

Connecting to Power

Universal voltage input accepts 120-277V AC.

  1. Ensure power is OFF at circuit breaker.
  2. Remove junction box cover.
  3. Connect line (brown) and neutral (blue) wires to terminal block.
  4. Connect ground wire to grounding terminal.
  5. For dimming: Connect purple (dim+) and gray (dim-) wires to dimmer controller.
  6. Secure all connections and replace cover.

Tip: Use wire nuts or terminal connectors rated for appropriate voltage and temperature.

Operation Modes

Normal operation: Full brightness when powered. Dimmed operation: When 0-10V dimmer connected.

  1. Full brightness: Default operation with dimmer disconnected or at 10V.
  2. Dimmed mode: Light output proportional to dimmer voltage (1V=10%, 10V=100%).
  3. Thermal throttling: Automatic brightness reduction if temperature exceeds 60°C (140°F).
  4. Emergency mode: Battery backup provides 90 minutes of reduced output during power failure (optional).

WARNING! Do not exceed maximum ambient temperature. Ensure adequate ventilation.

Safety Features

Over-temperature protection: Reduces output automatically. Short-circuit protection: Internal fuse. Surge protection: Built-in surge suppressor (5kV). IP65 rating: Protected against dust and water jets.

Care & Maintenance

Turn off power before maintenance. Clean lens with soft, dry cloth. Do not use chemicals or abrasives.

CAUTION! Do not disassemble fixture beyond removing lens for cleaning. Warranty void if tampered with.
