Installation & Mounting

Unpack all parts and inspect for damage. Ensure you have the correct hitch class.

  1. Prepare Hitch Receiver: Clean the 2-inch hitch receiver on your vehicle.
  2. Insert Carrier: Slide the TranzSporter's hitch tube fully into the vehicle's receiver.
  3. Secure with Pin: Insert the provided hitch pin through the aligned holes and secure with clip.
  4. Attach Safety Chains: Connect the carrier's safety chains to your vehicle's chain loops.
  5. Attach Ramp: Secure the loading ramp to the front of the carrier using the quick-release pins.
  6. Final Check: Ensure all connections are tight and the carrier does not wobble excessively.

WARNING! Carrier is heavy; use proper lifting techniques or assistance. Ensure hitch and vehicle are rated for the combined load.

Loading & Securing Your Vehicle

Always load on a flat, stable surface with ample clearance.

  1. Position Vehicle: Park tow vehicle and carrier on level ground. Engage parking brake.
  2. Deploy Ramp: Lower the integrated ramp to the ground, ensuring it is fully seated.
  3. Load Motorcycle/ATV: Carefully ride or push the vehicle up the ramp onto the carrier deck. Use an assistant if needed.
  4. Center Vehicle: Position the vehicle so its weight is centered over the carrier frame.
  5. Secure with Tie-Downs: Use high-quality ratchet straps or cam buckle straps. Attach to the vehicle's frame or designated hard points—not plastic or suspension components. Connect to all four D-rings on the carrier, creating an "X" pattern for stability.
  6. Check Security: Firmly tug on all straps. The vehicle should not shift or bounce.
  7. Stow Ramp: Secure the ramp in the upright travel position.

CAUTION! Never exceed the 400 lb load capacity. Always wear protective gear during loading.
