Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure compatible with your system case and components.

  1. Prepare the case: Turn off and unplug the system. Open the computer case.
  2. Mount the PSU: Align the unit with the mounting bracket in the case and secure with provided screws.
  3. Connect modular cables: Attach required cables (24-pin ATX, 8-pin EPS, PCIe, etc.) to the PSU ports.
  4. Route cables: Neatly route cables to corresponding motherboard and component connectors.
  5. Connect AC power cord: Plug the IEC cable into the PSU input socket and wall outlet.

WARNING! Ensure the system is completely powered off and unplugged before installation. Use anti-static precautions.

First-Time Setup

After physical installation, configure and test the power supply.

  1. Initial power check: Flip the rear power switch to ON. The status LED should illuminate steady green.
  2. System boot: Press the system power button. Verify all components receive power and the fan spins up.
  3. Monitor voltages: Enter system BIOS/UEFI to check that all voltage rails (3.3V, 5V, 12V) are within specification.
  4. Fan mode selection: Use the dedicated button (if equipped) or software to select Silent, Standard, or Performance fan profile.

CAUTION! Do not force connectors. Ensure all connections are fully seated and secure.

Specifications

Controls and Connections

Rear Panel: AC Input, Power Switch. Front/Side: Modular DC ports, Fan Mode Button, Status LED.

Modular Ports: Labeled MB (24-pin), CPU (8-pin), PCIe (8-pin), SATA/PERIPHERAL. Status LED: Green (Normal), Red (Fault/Protection Triggered), Off (No AC Power). Fan Button: Cycles through Silent (fan off at low load), Standard, Performance modes.

Connecting to System

Match cables to components and PSU ports.

  1. Motherboard: Connect the 24-pin ATX cable and the 8-pin EPS CPU power cable(s).
  2. Graphics Card: Connect the required number of 6+2 pin PCIe cables.
  3. Storage Drives: Connect SATA power cables to SSDs/HDDs.
  4. Peripherals: Use 4-pin Molex or SATA cables for fans, pumps, or other devices.

Tip: Use only the cables provided with this PSU. Do not mix cables from other power supplies.

Operation & Monitoring

Designed for continuous, stable operation.

  1. Normal Operation: The status LED is green. The fan operates based on load and selected mode.
  2. Load Monitoring: Keep total system power draw below 850W for optimal efficiency and longevity.
  3. Fan Behavior: In Silent mode, the fan may remain off until a temperature or load threshold is reached.
  4. Fault Indication: A red status LED indicates a protection circuit has been triggered. Refer to Troubleshooting.

WARNING! Do not cover ventilation intakes/exhausts. Ensure adequate airflow around the unit.

Protection Features

Automatic safeguards to protect the PSU and connected components.

OVP/OCP/SCP/OTP: The unit will automatically shut down and require a full AC power cycle (switch off, unplug, wait 30 seconds) to reset. OPP: Prevents operation beyond maximum rated power. UVP: Guards against unstable low voltage conditions.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug from AC power before any maintenance. Periodically clean the fan intake grill with compressed air to prevent dust buildup.

CAUTION! Do not open the PSU casing. No user-serviceable parts inside. Void warranty if opened.
