Assembly Instructions

Unpack all parts and check against parts list. Assemble on a clean, flat surface.

First-Time Setup

After assembly, prepare for first use.

  3. Place Heater: Position on stable, level, non-flammable surface outdoors, away from overhead cover.

Controls and Operation

Control Knob: OFF, PILOT/IGNITE, LOW, MEDIUM, HIGH. Piezo Igniter Button: Press to spark pilot.

To Light Heater:

  1. Ensure knob is in OFF position.
  2. Open propane tank valve slowly.
  3. Push and turn knob to PILOT/IGNITE.
  4. Press and hold Piezo button until pilot lights (visible through viewport).
  5. Keep knob pressed in for 30 seconds after pilot lights, then release.
  6. Turn knob to desired heat setting (LOW, MEDIUM, HIGH).

To Turn Off: Turn knob to OFF. Close propane tank valve.

Adjusting Heat: Rotate knob between LOW, MEDIUM, HIGH. Allow flame to stabilize after adjustment.

Connecting Propane Tank

Use only standard 20 lb propane tank with OPD (Overfill Protection Device) valve.

  1. Ensure heater is OFF and cool.
  2. Inspect hose and regulator for damage before each use.
  3. Connect regulator to tank valve by turning coupling counterclockwise until snug.
  4. Do not use tools; hand-tighten only.
  5. Check for leaks with soapy water solution as described in First-Time Setup.

Tip: Store propane tank upright in a cool, well-ventilated area outdoors. Never store spare tanks near heater.

Safety Features

Tilt Switch: Automatically shuts off gas supply if heater is tipped more than 15 degrees from upright.

Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS): If equipped, automatically shuts off heater if oxygen levels drop below safe threshold.
