Safety Information
Read all instructions before use.
- Electrical Safety: Do not disassemble or modify the panel or cables.
- Environmental: Use in dry conditions; avoid submersion despite IP65 rating.
- Sun Exposure: Avoid looking directly at the reflective surface in bright sun.
- Heat: Panel surface can get hot during operation; handle with care.
- Children & Pets: Keep away during operation.
WARNING! Never connect the DC output directly to a battery without a proper charge controller. This can cause damage or fire.

Setup & Positioning
For optimal performance, position the panel correctly.
- Unfold: Lay the panel on a flat, clean surface. Unfold all sections.
- Angle: Use the integrated kickstands to tilt the panel towards the sun. Optimal angle is roughly equal to your latitude.
- Direction: Face the panel TRUE SOUTH (in Northern Hemisphere) or TRUE NORTH (in Southern Hemisphere).
- Sunlight: Ensure no shadows (from trees, buildings, etc.) fall on any part of the panel.
- Ventilation: Allow space behind the panel for heat dissipation.
Tip: Adjust the angle every few hours to follow the sun for maximum output.
Connecting Devices
Connect your device after positioning the panel in sunlight.
- USB Devices (Phones, Tablets): Use the provided USB-A or USB-C cable to connect directly to the panel's corresponding port.
- Laptops (USB-C PD): Use a USB-C to USB-C cable supporting Power Delivery (PD). Connect to the panel's USB-C port.
- Power Station: Use the appropriate DC cable (usually MC4 to XT60 or Anderson) to connect the panel's DC output to your power station's solar input. Check compatibility first.
- 12V Batteries (via Controller): Connect the panel's DC output to a solar charge controller's input. Then connect the controller's output to your battery using the alligator clip cable. THIS STEP IS CRITICAL.
WARNING! Always connect the device BEFORE exposing the panel to sun. Disconnect the device BEFORE moving or covering the panel.
Charging Operation
Operation is simple once connected.
- Check Sunlight: Ensure the panel is in direct, unobstructed sunlight.
- Connect Device: Plug your device or power station into the correct port.
- Verify Charging: Your device should indicate it is charging. Power stations will show solar input watts.
- Monitoring: Output will vary based on sun intensity, angle, and temperature. Peak output occurs on cool, sunny days with perfect angle.
- Disconnecting: Unplug your device first. Fold the panel and store it away.
Note: The panel does not have an ON/OFF switch. Output is live when in sunlight.
Performance Tips
- Clean Surface: Wipe the glass surface with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, snow, or bird droppings for better efficiency.
- Avoid Heat Buildup: Output decreases as panel temperature rises. Good ventilation helps.
- Partial Shade: Even a small shadow on one cell can drastically reduce total output. Reposition to avoid shade.
- Cable Length: Use the shortest, thickest cables possible to minimize power loss.
- Cold Weather: Solar panels are more efficient in colder weather, but ensure connectors are free of ice.
Care & Storage
Proper care extends the product's life.
- Cleaning: Unplug all devices. Clean with soft cloth and water if needed. Do not use abrasive chemicals.
- Drying: Ensure the panel and ports are completely dry before folding and storing.
- Storage: Fold the panel neatly. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use for extended periods.
- Transport: Use the carrying handle. Avoid dropping or placing heavy objects on the folded panel.
CAUTION! Do not fold or unfold the panel with cables attached. This can damage the ports.

Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Possible Cause | Corrective Action |
| No output from USB ports | Weak sunlight / Device not compatible | Reposition panel for direct sun. Try a different device/cable. |
| Low charging speed | Shading, dirty surface, poor angle, high temperature | Clean panel, adjust angle, remove shadows, allow cooling. |
| Power station not recognizing input | Incompatible voltage, faulty cable, over-temperature protection | Check power station's solar input specs. Try a different cable. Let panel cool. |
| DC output seems dead | No sunlight, protection triggered (short-circuit) | Check sunlight. Disconnect all cables for 5 minutes to reset protection. |
| Panel gets very hot | Normal operation in strong sun | Ensure ventilation. Output will be lower when hot. This is normal. |
Reset: Disconnect all devices and cover the panel for 2 minutes to reset internal electronics.
