Initial Setup & Power

Getting your hub powered and ready.

Choose Location: Place on a stable, flat surface or mount on wall using included kit. Ensure within range of your Wi-Fi router and intended smart devices.
Connect Power: Plug the USB-C cable into the hub's port, then connect to the power adapter. Plug adapter into a standard 120V AC wall outlet.
Power On: Press the Power button on the side. The touchscreen will illuminate and show the Spacetronik logo.

WARNING! Use only the provided 5V/2A power adapter. Do not place in direct sunlight or near heat sources.

Connecting to Network

Connect the hub to your home Wi-Fi network.

On the hub's touchscreen, tap "Get Started".
Select your preferred language (default is ENGLISH).
The hub will scan for available Wi-Fi networks. Select your home network from the list.
Enter your Wi-Fi password using the on-screen keyboard.
Tap "Connect". The Status LED will turn solid blue when successfully connected to the network and internet.

Tip: For best performance, place the hub within 10 meters of your Wi-Fi router without major obstructions.

Pairing Smart Devices

Adding compatible lights, plugs, sensors, etc.

Ensure the smart device is in pairing/discovery mode (refer to its manual).
On the hub touchscreen, go to Menu > Add Device.
Select the device type (e.g., Light, Plug, Sensor).
Follow on-screen instructions. For Zigbee/Z-Wave devices, the hub will automatically search.
Once found, assign a name to the device (e.g., "Living Room Lamp").
Repeat for additional devices.

Note: The hub supports up to 50 paired devices simultaneously.

Basic Configuration via App

Control and automate using the Smart Life app.

Download the "Smart Life" app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Create an account or log in.
Tap the "+" icon to add a device. Select "Hub/Controller".
Scan the QR code on the back of your SL-C71 hub or manually enter the device ID.
The app will link to your hub. You can now:
- View all paired devices.
- Create rooms and groups.
- Set schedules and timers.
- Create automation routines (e.g., "Good Morning" scene).
- Enable remote access when away from home.

Touchscreen Interface

Using the built-in display for local control.

The home screen shows time, weather (if configured), and quick-access tiles for your favorite devices or scenes.

Swipe Left/Right: Navigate between device control pages.
Tap a Device Tile: Turn a device on/off or adjust settings (e.g., dim light).
Top Bar: Shows Wi-Fi signal, time, and notifications.
Menu Button (≡): Access Settings, Add Device, Scenes, and System Info.

Settings Menu: Adjust display brightness, sound volume, language, and Wi-Fi.

Safety & Precautions

Use only in dry, indoor environments.
Do not disassemble the device.
Keep away from water and other liquids.
Ensure adequate ventilation; do not block vents.
Unplug the power adapter before cleaning.
This device is not a toy. Keep away from children under 3 years old.

Troubleshooting

Symptom	Possible Cause	Corrective Action
Hub won't power on	Loose power connection	Ensure USB-C cable is fully inserted at both ends. Try a different power outlet.
Cannot connect to Wi-Fi	Wrong password / weak signal	Re-enter Wi-Fi password carefully. Move hub closer to the router.
Smart device not found	Device not in pairing mode / out of range	Put device in pairing mode per its manual. Move device closer to hub (within 10m).
App cannot find hub	Hub not connected to internet	Check hub's Status LED. Restart hub and router. Ensure 2.4GHz Wi-Fi is enabled on router.
Touchscreen is unresponsive	Software glitch	Press and hold Power button for 10 seconds to force restart the hub.

Factory Reset: If problems persist, go to Menu > Settings > System > Reset to Factory Defaults. This will erase all configurations and paired devices.
