Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure all parts are present and undamaged.

  1. Unfold the solar panel: Release the latches and lay the panels flat.
  2. Deploy the kickstand: Adjust to desired angle facing the sun.
  3. Position for sunlight: Place in direct sunlight, avoiding shadows.
  4. Connect device: Plug your USB device into the output port.

WARNING! Do not expose to extreme temperatures or submerge in water beyond IP65 rating. Keep away from children.

First-Time Setup

Position the panel and begin charging.

  1. Unfold completely: Ensure all panels are locked in place.
  2. Angle towards sun: Use kickstand to achieve optimal angle (approx. 30-45 degrees).
  3. Check LED indicator: Green light indicates ready for charging.
  4. Connect device: Use provided USB cable or your own compatible cable.

CAUTION! Avoid placing on hot surfaces. Do not look directly at the reflective surface in bright sunlight.

Specifications

Controls and Settings

Simple operation with minimal controls. Status LED indicates operation mode.

LED Indicators: Off (No power), Green (Charging), Flashing Green (Low sunlight/No load), Red (Fault/Overload).

No user-adjustable settings. The built-in charge controller automatically optimizes power output based on sunlight conditions and connected load.

Connecting Devices

Compatible with any USB-powered device using a standard USB cable.

  1. Ensure the solar panel is in sunlight and LED is green.
  2. Connect your device's USB cable to one of the USB output ports on the charge controller.
  3. Connect the other end to your device (phone, power bank, etc.).
  4. Charging should begin automatically. Check your device's charging indicator.

Tip: For fastest charging, use a short, high-quality USB cable. Charging speed depends on sunlight intensity.

Charging Operation

Designed for straightforward solar charging.

  1. Optimal Placement: Position panel where it receives direct, unobstructed sunlight for the longest period.
  2. Angle Adjustment: Change the kickstand angle seasonally for best performance.
  3. Monitoring: The green LED will remain steady during normal charging. A flashing light indicates insufficient power generation.
  4. Multiple Devices: You can charge two devices simultaneously, but total output is limited to 2.4A shared.
  5. Storage: Fold the panels and secure the latch when not in use.

WARNING! Do not attempt to disassemble the unit or bypass the charge controller. Do not connect to non-USB devices.

Safety Features

Over-current Protection: Automatically limits output to prevent damage. Short-circuit Protection: Safeguards against output shorts. Reverse Polarity Protection: Prevents damage from incorrect cable connection. Over-temperature Protection: Reduces output if controller overheats.

Care & Cleaning

Disconnect all devices before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the solar panel surface. For stubborn dirt, use mild soap and water. Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.

CAUTION! Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or high-pressure water. Do not clean while the panel is hot or in direct sunlight.
