Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure installation site is suitable.

  1. Mounting: Securely mount the inverter on a stable, vertical surface using the provided bracket, ensuring adequate ventilation (clearances as per manual).
  2. DC Connection: Connect the PV string cables to the DC input terminals (Positive [+] and Negative [-]). Ensure polarity is correct.
  3. AC Connection: Connect the AC output cables (L, N, PE) to the corresponding terminals and to your household distribution board/grid connection point.
  4. Grounding: Connect the protective earth (PE) cable from the inverter chassis to a proper grounding rod.
  5. Communication: Plug in the optional Wi-Fi dongle to the communication port if remote monitoring is desired.

WARNING! Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with all local electrical codes. Disconnect all power sources before working on the system.

First-Time Commissioning

After installation, power on the system in sequence.

  1. DC Power On: Ensure PV strings are correctly connected, then turn ON the integrated DC switch.
  2. AC Power On: Turn ON the integrated AC switch. The inverter will perform a self-test.
  3. Initialization: The LCD will light up. The inverter will check grid parameters (voltage, frequency). This may take several minutes.
  4. Grid Connection: Once grid parameters are within limits, the inverter will automatically start feeding power to the grid. The "RUN" indicator will light up.
  5. Wi-Fi Setup: If using the monitoring dongle, follow the app instructions to connect the inverter to your home Wi-Fi network.

CAUTION! Do not attempt to open the inverter casing. No user-serviceable parts inside.

Specifications

Controls and Display

The front panel features an LCD screen and status LEDs.

LCD Display Information: - Real-time AC Power (kW) - Daily Energy Yield (kWh) - Total Energy Yield (MWh) - PV Input Voltage & Current - Grid Voltage & Frequency - Inverter Temperature - Operational Status (Running, Fault, Standby) - Error Codes (if any)

Status LEDs: - POWER (Green): Steady = AC power present. - RUN (Green): Blinking = Inverter is feeding power to the grid. - FAULT (Red): Lit = A fault has been detected. Check the LCD for error code.

Buttons: (Below display) - ENTER/ESC: Navigate menus and confirm selections. - UP/DOWN: Scroll through display pages or change parameter values.

Connecting to the Grid & Monitoring

The inverter automatically synchronizes with the grid. For monitoring, use the Wi-Fi dongle.

  1. Grid Connection: The inverter continuously monitors grid health. It will disconnect if parameters go outside safe limits and reconnect automatically when normal.
  2. Wi-Fi Monitoring Setup: a. Install the "SOLAR LOGIC Monitor" app on your smartphone. b. Power on the inverter with the Wi-Fi dongle inserted. c. In the app, add a new device and follow the pairing instructions (usually involves connecting to the inverter's hotspot temporarily). d. Connect the inverter to your home Wi-Fi network through the app.
  3. App Features: View real-time power, historical energy graphs, system status, and receive fault notifications.

Tip: Ensure your Wi-Fi signal is strong at the inverter's location for reliable monitoring.

Operation Modes & Alerts

The inverter operates automatically based on sunlight and grid conditions.

  1. Normal Operation (RUN): Converts DC from PV panels to AC for the grid. LED blinks green.
  2. Standby: At night or low irradiance, inverter enters low-power standby mode.
  3. Fault Mode: Red FAULT LED lights up. LCD shows an error code (e.g., E01, E10). Refer to the troubleshooting section.
  4. Grid Fault: Inverter disconnects if grid voltage/frequency is abnormal. It will attempt to reconnect automatically when grid is stable.

Common Alerts via App/Display: High temperature warning, low insulation resistance, grid fault, MPPT error.

WARNING! If the FAULT LED is continuously lit, investigate the cause promptly. Do not ignore persistent error codes.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular visual inspection is recommended. The inverter requires minimal maintenance.

  1. Visual Check: Periodically inspect for any physical damage, loose cables, or signs of moisture ingress.
  2. Ventilation: Ensure the ventilation slots on the bottom and sides are not blocked by debris, leaves, or snow.
  3. Cleaning: Wipe the exterior casing with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use water, solvents, or abrasive cleaners.
  4. Connection Check: A qualified technician should check terminal tightness during annual system inspection.

CAUTION! Always turn OFF both the AC and DC switches and ensure the inverter is completely de-energized before performing any cleaning or inspection near terminals.

Troubleshooting

Symptom / Error CodePossible CauseCorrective Action
Inverter not starting (No display)No DC power / AC powerCheck DC switch is ON and PV strings are producing voltage. Check AC switch and grid supply.
FAULT LED on, Code E01Grid Voltage High/LowInverter has detected abnormal grid voltage. Wait for grid to stabilize. If persistent, contact your DNO (Distribution Network Operator).
FAULT LED on, Code E04Isolation Resistance LowPossible insulation fault in DC side. Contact a qualified installer to check PV array wiring and module insulation.
FAULT LED on, Code E10Over-temperatureInverter too hot. Ensure installation location is shaded/ventilated. Clear any obstructions from ventilation slots.
No Wi-Fi connectionWeak signal / wrong credentialsMove router closer or use Wi-Fi extender. Re-configure Wi-Fi settings via the app.
Low energy productionShading, dirty panels, weatherCheck for new shading objects (e.g., tree growth). Clean PV panels if dirty. Compare to expected yield for your location and season.

Reset: For transient faults, turning the DC and AC switches OFF, waiting 5 minutes, and then turning them back ON may clear the error. For persistent faults, note the error code and contact support.
