Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Choose optimal location with direct sunlight.

  1. Select mounting location: Ensure solar panel faces south (northern hemisphere) for maximum sun exposure.
  2. Mount bracket: Use provided screws to secure bracket to wall or pole.
  3. Attach light unit: Secure light to bracket using locking knob.
  4. Angle adjustment: Adjust solar panel and sensor direction as needed.

WARNING! Install at height of 2-3 meters for optimal detection. Ensure mounting surface is stable.

First-Time Setup

Before first use, fully charge battery via solar panel.

  1. Initial charge: Place in direct sunlight for 8-10 hours before first use.
  2. Mode selection: Use MODE button to choose Constant On, Motion, or Dusk-to-Dawn.
  3. Sensor adjustment: Set detection range (3-10m) and sensitivity via dials.
  4. Timer setting: Adjust illumination duration (10s, 30s, 1min, 5min, 30min).

CAUTION! Do not cover solar panel during charging. Ensure clean panel surface.

Specifications

Controls and Settings

Access controls via buttons and dials on back panel.

Control Panel: MODE button, TEST button, Sensitivity dial, Timer dial.

Mode Selection: Press MODE to cycle through Constant On (light stays on), Motion-Activated (light on when motion detected), Dusk-to-Dawn (light on at dusk, off at dawn). Sensitivity: Adjust dial to set motion detection sensitivity (Min to Max). Timer: Set how long light stays on after motion detection (10s to 30min). Test: Press TEST button to manually activate light and sensor.

Connecting to Power

Solar powered only - no external wiring required.

  1. Ensure solar panel is clean and unobstructed.
  2. Position for maximum sunlight exposure (south-facing recommended).
  3. Battery charges automatically during daylight hours.
  4. LED indicator shows charging status (red=charging, green=fully charged).

Tip: For first-time use, charge for 8-10 hours in direct sunlight before operation.

Operating Modes

Three operating modes for different security needs.

  1. Constant On Mode: Light remains on continuously from dusk to dawn.
  2. Motion-Activated Mode: Light turns on when motion detected, stays on for set timer duration.
  3. Dusk-to-Dawn Mode: Light turns on automatically at dusk, off at dawn regardless of motion.
  4. Adjusting Settings: Use dials to fine-tune sensitivity and timer duration.
  5. Test Function: Press TEST button to verify sensor and light operation.

WARNING! Do not look directly at LED lights. Keep sensor area clean of obstructions.

Maintenance & Care

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Clean solar panel weekly with soft, damp cloth.
  2. Check sensor window for dirt or spider webs.
  3. Inspect mounting hardware quarterly for tightness.
  4. In winter, remove snow accumulation from solar panel.

CAUTION! Do not use abrasive cleaners or high-pressure water on solar panel.
