Safety Information

Read all safety instructions before operation.

  1. Electrical Safety: Do not expose ports or cables to water or moisture. Use only in dry conditions.
  2. Heat & Sunlight: The panel surface can become very hot. Avoid touching during operation. Do not leave devices on the panel.
  3. Compatibility: Ensure your device's input voltage/current is within the panel's output specifications.
  4. Children & Pets: Keep away from children and pets. The cables pose a tripping hazard.
  5. Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.

CAUTION! Never look directly at the sun or point reflective surfaces at the panel. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the unit.

Specifications

First-Time Setup & Connection

Unfold the panel and position it for optimal sunlight.

  1. Unfold: Lay the panel flat on a stable, clean surface. Deploy the integrated kickstand.
  2. Position: Angle the panel directly towards the sun (see Section 7).
  3. Connect Device: Use the appropriate cable for your device (not all included). Plug into the correct port.
  4. Check Indicator: The LED indicator will light up, showing charging status.

Tip: For first use, charge a power bank first to test output before connecting sensitive electronics like laptops.

Charging Your Devices

Follow these steps for safe and efficient charging.

  1. Smartphones/Tablets (USB-A): Use a standard USB-A to Lightning/USB-C cable. Plug into either USB-A port.
  2. Laptops/Drones (USB-C PD): Use a USB-C to USB-C cable supporting PD. Plug into the USB-C PD port.
  3. Power Stations/12V Devices (DC): Use the included DC cable. Connect the alligator clips to the correct terminals on your power station or device.
  4. Multiple Devices: You can charge up to 4 devices simultaneously, but total output will be shared and may reduce charging speed.

Note: Charging speed depends on sunlight intensity, angle, and device compatibility. Cloudy days will reduce output.

Optimal Positioning & Sunlight

Maximize power output with correct panel orientation.

  1. Time of Day: Peak sunlight is between 10 AM and 2 PM.
  2. Angle: Adjust the kickstand so the panel faces the sun at a 90-degree angle if possible.
  3. Clear Path: Ensure no shadows from trees, buildings, or yourself fall on the panel.
  4. Clean Surface: Wipe dust or debris from the solar cells before charging.

WARNING! Do not walk on or place heavy objects on the panel. Avoid sharp objects.

LED Indicator Guide

The LED light next to the ports shows system status.

LED StateMeaningAction
Solid GreenPanel is in sunlight and outputting optimal power.Ready for charging.
Flashing GreenPanel is outputting power, but sunlight is sub-optimal (cloudy).Reposition for better sun or expect slower charging.
Solid RedError detected (e.g., short circuit, over-temperature, over-current).Disconnect all devices. Let panel cool down. Check cables.
No LightNo significant sunlight detected or panel is folded/covered.Unfold panel and place in direct sunlight.

Care, Storage & Maintenance

Proper care extends the lifespan of your solar panel.

  1. Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface. For stubborn dirt, use a damp cloth and mild soap. Dry immediately.
  2. Storage: Fold the panel neatly and store in the provided bag in a cool, dry place.
  3. Inspection: Periodically check cables and ports for wear or damage.
  4. Long-Term: If storing for months, ensure the panel is clean and dry, and store with a 50% charge in a connected power bank if possible.

CAUTION! Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or high-pressure water. Do not fold when wet.
