Safety Instructions

Read all instructions before use. Charger contains electrical parts.

  1. Use in well-ventilated area away from sparks or flames.
  2. Do not charge frozen or damaged batteries.
  3. Ensure AC power is OFF before connecting to battery.
  4. Connect RED clamp to POSITIVE (+) terminal first, then BLACK to NEGATIVE (-).
  5. Disconnect in reverse order after charging.

WARNING! Risk of explosion or electric shock. Follow instructions precisely. Keep away from children.

Installation & Connection

Unpack and inspect contents. Place charger on stable, dry surface near battery.

  1. AC Connection: Plug charger into grounded 230V AC outlet.
  2. Battery Connection: Ensure battery terminals are clean. Connect RED clamp to battery POSITIVE (+) terminal.
  3. Connect BLACK clamp to battery NEGATIVE (-) terminal or vehicle chassis ground.
  4. Power On: Switch AC power ON. Charger will perform automatic diagnosis.

CAUTION! Do not connect clamps to each other. Ensure clamps have firm contact.

Specifications

Controls and Indicators

Front Panel: POWER button, MODE button, LED indicators.

LED Indicators:

Mode Selection: Press MODE button to cycle through: STD (Standard Wet), AGM (AGM/Gel), RECOND (Recondition for sulfated batteries).

Charging Operation

Charger automatically diagnoses battery and selects charging stage.

  1. Connect charger as per Installation steps.
  2. Select appropriate MODE for your battery type.
  3. Charger will begin automatically. CHARGING LED flashes.
  4. Charging Stages:
    • Bulk: High current until ~80% charged.
    • Absorption: Voltage constant, current tapers.
    • Float: Maintenance voltage to prevent overcharge.
  5. When MAINTENANCE LED lights solid, charging is complete.
  6. Disconnect AC power, then remove BLACK clamp, then RED clamp.

Tip: For deeply discharged batteries, use RECOND mode to attempt recovery.

Maintenance Mode

After full charge, charger switches to Maintenance (Float) mode automatically. Maintains battery at optimal voltage without overcharging. Ideal for seasonal vehicles or long-term storage. LED remains solid green. Can be left connected for extended periods.

Care & Storage

Unplug and disconnect from battery before cleaning. Wipe with dry cloth. Store in cool, dry place. Coil cables neatly.

CAUTION! Do not immerse in water. Do not use solvents.

Troubleshooting

SymptomPossible CauseCorrective Action
FAULT LED is RedReverse polarity, poor connection, damaged batteryCheck clamp connections (RED to +, BLACK to -). Clean terminals. If fault persists, battery may be faulty.
No LED lightsNo AC powerCheck AC outlet and power cord connection.
CHARGING LED does not flashBattery already fully charged, or not accepting chargeBattery may be full (check MAINTENANCE LED). For dead battery, try RECOND mode.
Charger gets hotNormal during high-current charging, or ventilation blockedEnsure vents are clear. If excessively hot, disconnect and allow to cool.
Battery not holding chargeBattery may be old or damagedTest battery with load tester. Charger cannot repair physically damaged batteries.

Reset: Disconnect from AC and battery for 2 minutes to reset microprocessor.

Service: Do not attempt to repair. Contact authorized service center.
