Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Choose a dry, well-ventilated location.

  1. Connect DC cables: Use appropriate gauge cables (refer to manual). Connect positive (+) to battery positive, negative (-) to battery negative.
  2. Secure connections: Ensure all terminals are tight and secure to prevent arcing.
  3. Mount inverter: Use provided screws to mount in a stable position, away from heat sources.
  4. Connect remote (if applicable): Plug remote switch into designated port.
  5. Connect AC devices: Plug devices into AC outlets only after DC connection is complete and inverter is powered.

WARNING! Ensure proper ventilation. Do not install near flammable materials. Use correct cable size to prevent overheating.

First-Time Setup

Power on inverter; check indicator lights.

  1. Check battery voltage: Ensure battery is within 10.5V - 15.5V range.
  2. Power on: Switch inverter ON (front panel or remote). Green power LED should illuminate.
  3. Connect load: Plug in AC device. Ensure total wattage does not exceed 1600W.
  4. Monitor operation: Listen for fan operation under load; ensure normal sound.

CAUTION! Do not connect to AC mains. This is a DC to AC inverter only.

Specifications

Controls and Indicators

Front Panel: Power ON/OFF switch, Status LEDs (Power, Fault, Overload).

Remote (optional): ON/OFF switch, status indicator.

Indicator Meanings: - Green (Power): Inverter is ON and operating normally. - Red (Fault): Indicates protection triggered (over voltage, under voltage, thermal). - Red (Overload): Output overload or short circuit detected.

Protection Reset: Automatically resets when fault condition clears (e.g., temperature drops, overload removed).

Connecting Devices

DC: Battery terminals. AC: Standard AC outlets.

  1. Turn off inverter before connecting/disconnecting DC cables.
  2. Connect battery: Ensure correct polarity (+ to +, - to -).
  3. Connect AC load: Plug device into AC outlet. Start with lowest power setting if device has variable power.
  4. Turn on inverter first, then turn on AC device.

Tip: For inductive loads (motors, pumps), ensure surge rating (3200W) is sufficient for start-up current.

Operation

Supports continuous operation up to rated power.

  1. Power on: Switch to ON. Green LED lights.
  2. Connect load: Plug in device. Do not exceed 1600W total.
  3. Monitor: Ensure fan operates under load. If fan is loud continuously, check for overload or high ambient temperature.
  4. Power off: Turn off AC device first, then turn off inverter.
  5. Remote use: Use remote switch for convenient ON/OFF control from a distance.

WARNING! Do not cover ventilation openings. Ensure air flow around inverter is unobstructed.

Safety Features

Overload Protection: Automatically shuts down output if load exceeds 1600W for extended period or 3200W surge. Resets when load is reduced. Short Circuit Protection: Immediate shutdown on AC output short. Low/High Voltage Shutdown: Turns off if DC input is below 10.5V or above 15.5V to protect battery and inverter. Thermal Protection: Shuts down if internal temperature exceeds safe limit. Fan cools unit; resumes when temperature drops.

Care & Maintenance

Keep unit clean and dry. Periodically check terminals for corrosion or looseness.

  1. Cleaning: Use dry cloth only. Do not use liquids or aerosols.
  2. Terminals: Inspect DC terminals periodically; tighten if loose. Clean corrosion with appropriate cleaner.
  3. Ventilation: Ensure fan vents are clear of dust and debris.
  4. Storage: Store in dry location if not in use for extended period.

CAUTION! Disconnect from battery before performing any maintenance. Do not open casing; no user-serviceable parts inside.

Troubleshooting

SymptomPossible CauseCorrective Action
No output, no LEDNo DC power, loose connectionCheck battery voltage; ensure DC cables are connected securely and polarity is correct.
Red Fault LED onLow/high voltage, overheatingCheck battery voltage (10.5V-15.5V). Allow unit to cool if overheated. Ensure ventilation.
Red Overload LED onOverload or short circuitDisconnect all loads. Reduce total wattage below 1600W. Check for short circuit in connected device.
Fan not runningNormal at low load, faultFan is temperature-controlled; may not run at light loads. If unit is hot and fan is off, discontinue use and contact service.
Inverter shuts down under loadOverload, high temperature, low batteryReduce load. Check battery voltage under load. Ensure proper ventilation.
Remote not workingNot connected, faultyCheck remote cable connection. Try front panel switch. Replace remote if faulty.

Reset: Turn inverter OFF, remove overload/fault condition, wait 30 seconds, turn ON.

Service: Contact authorized service center. Do not attempt internal repairs.
