Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a stable, flat surface.

  1. Connect video source: Use VGA cable for PC or composite video cable for other devices.
  2. Connect audio source: Use 3.5mm audio cable from source to AUDIO INPUT jack (if required).
  3. Connect power: Plug the included power adapter into the AC input connector and a wall outlet.
  4. Power on: Press the Power button on the front or side panel.

WARNING! Do not place heavy objects on the monitor. Ensure ventilation openings are not blocked.

First-Time Setup

Power on the monitor; the display should activate if a signal is present.

  1. Select input source: Use the INPUT/SOURCE button on the front panel or remote (if included) to cycle between VGA and VIDEO.
  2. Auto Adjust (VGA mode): Press the AUTO button to optimize clock, phase, and position for the connected PC.
  3. Adjust picture settings: Use the MENU button to access Brightness, Contrast, Color, and Sharpness controls.
  4. Adjust volume: Use the Volume +/- buttons to set speaker level.

CAUTION! Handle the LCD screen carefully. Avoid pressure or impact on the surface.

Connecting Devices

PC (VGA): Connect VGA cable from PC to monitor's VGA port; connect audio cable from PC's audio out to monitor's AUDIO INPUT. Video Device (Composite): Connect yellow RCA video cable from device to VIDEO INPUT; connect audio cables (white/red RCA or 3.5mm) to AUDIO INPUT.

  1. Turn off monitor and source device before connecting.
  2. Match cables to correct ports (VGA to VGA, Video to Video).
  3. Select the corresponding input source using the INPUT/SOURCE button.

Tip: For best VGA picture quality, always run AUTO ADJUST after connecting or changing resolution.

Using as a Secondary Monitor

Ideal for extending or mirroring your desktop.

  1. Connect the ZM9157 to your computer's VGA output port.
  2. Power on the monitor and computer.
  3. On your computer, go to Display Settings (Windows) or System Preferences > Displays (Mac).
  4. Detect the second display and choose "Extend" or "Mirror" these displays.
  5. Adjust resolution to 1024 x 768 (recommended) for optimal clarity.
  6. Use the monitor's OSD to fine-tune picture settings if needed.

WARNING! Do not disconnect cables while the devices are powered on.

Audio Features

The built-in speakers provide basic audio for presentations or multimedia. Volume is controlled via the front panel buttons or OSD menu. For private listening, connect headphones to the AUDIO INPUT jack (if it supports passthrough) or use your source device's headphone output.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug the monitor from power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the screen and casing. For stubborn smudges, lightly dampen the cloth with water only. Do not apply liquid directly to the screen.

CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or spray cleaners directly on the LCD surface.
