Unboxing and Parts

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure all parts are present.

Loading Film

Power on camera; ensure battery is charged before loading film.

  1. Open film door: Slide latch on side of camera and open door.
  2. Insert film pack: Place film pack with dark protective tab facing down and toward the front of the camera.
  3. Close door: Firmly close film door until it clicks. The dark tab will automatically eject.
  4. Film counter: The camera will display the number of shots (typically 8) on the LED indicator.

CAUTION! Do not open film door after loading until all pictures are taken. Exposure to light will ruin unused film.

Mode Dial: NORMAL (standard photo), SELF-TIMER (10-second delay), DOUBLE EXPOSURE, LIGHT PAINTING, OFF (power off).

Shutter Button: Half-press to activate exposure metering (LED turns green), full press to take picture. LED Indicators: Green (ready to shoot), Red (charging flash/low battery), Blinking Red (out of film/error). USB-C Port: For charging only. Tripod Socket: Standard 1/4-inch thread.

Taking Your First Picture

Ensure camera is on, film is loaded, and battery is charged.

  1. Turn camera on: Rotate mode dial from OFF to NORMAL.
  2. Frame your shot: Look through viewfinder. Subject should be within focus range.
  3. Check lighting: Ensure subject is well-lit. Flash will fire automatically in low light.
  4. Take picture: Press shutter button fully. You will hear the film eject.
  5. Handle print: Grasp print by edges and place face-up on flat surface. Do not shake. Image will develop over 10-15 minutes.

Tip: For best results, take pictures in well-lit environments. Protect developing prints from bright light, cold, and bending.

Creative Modes and Settings

Use mode dial to access creative functions.

  1. Self-Timer: Set dial to SELF-TIMER. Press shutter. Red LED blinks for 8 seconds, then rapid blinks for 2 seconds before capturing.
  2. Double Exposure: Set dial to DOUBLE EXPOSURE. Take first shot (film does not eject). Recompose and take second shot. Film ejects after second shot.
  3. Light Painting: Set dial to LIGHT PAINTING. Press and hold shutter button to open shutter (up to 30 sec). Use a light source to "paint" in the scene. Release button to close shutter and eject film.
  4. Close-up Lens: Attach accessory lens over main lens for subjects 0.3m - 0.6m away.
  5. Flash Override: In NORMAL mode, half-press shutter, then quickly press flash button (if equipped) to force flash on/off.

WARNING! Do not point light painting source directly into lens. Keep camera steady on tripod for long exposures.

Using the Flash

Flash fires automatically in low light. Red-eye reduction pre-flash can be enabled in some models.

Care & Maintenance

Turn off and remove film before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth for exterior. Use a blower brush for lens.

CAUTION! Do not use liquids, solvents, or compressed air. Store camera in a cool, dry place. Remove battery if storing for extended periods.
