Safety Precautions

Read all instructions before installation and operation.

  1. Disconnect power before making any electrical connections.
  2. Ensure the actuator is properly mounted to prevent movement during operation.
  3. Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 500N (50kg).
  4. Keep fingers and loose clothing away from moving parts.
  5. Operate only within specified temperature and humidity ranges.

WARNING! Failure to follow safety instructions may result in injury or damage to the equipment.

Mounting Instructions

Proper mounting is critical for safe and reliable operation.

  1. Identify mounting points on your application structure.
  2. Align actuator brackets with mounting holes.
  3. Secure using provided M5 bolts and lock washers. Tighten to 4-5 Nm.
  4. Ensure actuator rod is aligned with the direction of movement to prevent binding.
  5. Leave sufficient clearance for full extension and retraction.

Tip: Use a spirit level to ensure actuator is mounted horizontally if required by application.

Electrical Connections

Connect to a stable 12V DC power source.

  1. Connect power wires to a 12V DC power supply (min 5A).
  2. Connect control signals (IN1, IN2) to your controller (PLC, switch, etc.).
  3. Ensure all connections are tight and insulated.

CAUTION! Reverse polarity will damage the actuator. Double-check connections before powering on.

Control & Operation

The actuator is controlled via two digital signals.

  1. Extend: Apply +5V to +12V to IN1 (COM as reference). Rod extends fully until internal limit switch stops movement.
  2. Retract: Apply +5V to +12V to IN2 (COM as reference). Rod retracts fully until internal limit switch stops movement.
  3. Stop: Remove both control signals. Actuator stops immediately.
  4. For momentary control, use a spring-return switch. For maintained position, use a latching switch or relay.

Note: Do not energize both IN1 and IN2 simultaneously.

Manual Override

In case of power failure, the actuator can be manually operated.

  1. Locate the manual override knob on the side of the actuator body.
  2. Insert a 4mm hex key (not included) into the knob.
  3. Turn clockwise to retract the rod, counter-clockwise to extend.
  4. Manual operation requires moderate force. Do not force if resistance is high.

WARNING! Disconnect power before using manual override to prevent accidental activation.

Maintenance

Regular inspection ensures long service life.

CAUTION! Do not disassemble the actuator. Internal components are not user-serviceable.
