Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place display unit on stable surface or mount on wall.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment on display unit and remote sensor; install batteries observing polarity.
  2. Power display unit: Connect AC adapter or ensure batteries are properly installed.
  3. Position sensor: Place remote sensor in desired location (avoid direct sunlight, heat sources, or moisture).
  4. Sync sensor: Wait for automatic synchronization (may take up to 3 minutes).

WARNING! Use only recommended battery types. Do not expose sensor to extreme conditions beyond its operating range.

First-Time Setup

Power on display unit; follow these initial configuration steps.

  1. Set time and date: Press and hold SET button, use UP/DOWN to adjust values.
  2. Select temperature unit: In settings menu, choose between °F and °C.
  3. Register sensor: Ensure sensor is within range; press and hold CH button on display to search for signal.
  4. Set alerts: Navigate to ALERT menu to configure high/low thresholds for temperature and humidity.

CAUTION! Keep sensor and display unit away from electronic devices that may cause interference.

Connecting the Sensor

Wireless connection between remote sensor and display unit.

  1. Ensure batteries are installed in both units.
  2. Place sensor within 30 meters of display unit, avoiding obstructions.
  3. Press and hold CH button on display unit for 3 seconds to initiate search.
  4. Wait for signal icon to appear stable on display.

Tip: For best performance, position sensor at same height as display unit and away from metal objects.

Monitoring Data

View current and historical temperature and humidity information.

  1. Current readings: Display shows real-time data from selected channel.
  2. Switch channels: Press CH button to cycle through connected sensors.
  3. View min/max: Press MIN/MAX button to see recorded extremes.
  4. Reset records: In settings menu, select RESET MIN/MAX to clear history.
  5. Clock display: Press CLOCK button to show time and date.

WARNING! Data accuracy may be affected by extreme environmental conditions or interference.

Alert Functions

Set customizable alarms for temperature and humidity thresholds.

  1. Enter alert menu: Press and hold ALERT button for 3 seconds.
  2. Set high/low limits: Use UP/DOWN to adjust values for temperature and humidity separately.
  3. Enable/disable: Toggle alerts ON or OFF for each parameter.
  4. Alert indication: When threshold is crossed, display flashes and alarm sounds (if enabled).

Note: Default factory settings have alerts disabled.

Care & Cleaning
