Initial Setup

Power on printer and prepare for first use.

  1. Charge the printer: Connect USB-C cable to printer and power adapter/USB port. Charge until LED turns solid green (approx. 2 hours).
  2. Load paper: Open paper compartment, insert ZINK paper with blue side facing down, close firmly.
  3. Install KODAK App: Download from Apple App Store or Google Play Store on your smartphone.
  4. Pair devices: Turn on printer, enable Bluetooth/Wi-Fi on phone, open app to detect and connect.

Tip: Keep printer within 10 feet (3 meters) of smartphone for stable connection.

Printing Photos

Supports JPEG, PNG formats from phone gallery, cloud services, or social media (via app).

  1. Select photo: In KODAK App, choose photo from gallery or take new one.
  2. Edit (optional): Adjust using edit tools, apply filters, add text or frames.
  3. Print settings: Select size (4x6 or 2x3), quantity, border options.
  4. Print: Tap print icon; confirm printer is connected and paper loaded.
  5. Wait for print: Printer will eject photo face-down; allow 60 seconds for full color development.
  6. Multiple prints: Repeat process or select multiple photos before printing.

WARNING! Do not open paper compartment during printing. Avoid touching print head.

KODAK App: Free download; key features include photo selection from phone/cloud/Facebook/Instagram, editing tools (crop, rotate, filters, adjustments), collage maker (combine multiple photos), print preview, printer status, firmware updates.

Maintenance & Care

Clean exterior with dry, soft cloth. Store in cool, dry place. Replace ZINK paper when low. For print head, use dry cloth gently if needed (power off).
