Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure proper ventilation and mounting.

  1. Select location: Choose a well-ventilated area away from heat sources.
  2. Mounting: Use provided screws to secure board to a non-conductive surface.
  3. Power connection: Connect DC power supply to V+ and GND terminals, observing polarity.
  4. Speaker connection: Connect speaker wires to L+/- and R+/- terminals.
  5. Audio input: Connect source using RCA or 3.5mm jack.

WARNING! Ensure correct polarity on DC power input. Reverse polarity may damage the module.

Connections

Connect all cables before applying power.

  1. Power: Use a regulated DC power supply (12-24V, sufficient current rating).
  2. Speakers: Compatible with 4-8 ohm speakers. Do not short outputs.
  3. Audio Source: Connect line-level audio from phone, PC, or preamp.
  4. Gain adjustment: Set initial gain to minimum before power on.

CAUTION! Double-check all connections. Loose wires can cause shorts or poor performance.

Specifications

Controls and Operation

Onboard controls: Gain potentiometer, power terminals, input jacks.

Operation: Apply power; Status LED should illuminate steady green. Adjust gain to desired volume level using a small screwdriver. No external remote control included.

Gain Setting: Turn clockwise to increase sensitivity/volume. Start low and increase gradually to avoid clipping.

Status LED Indicators: Green = Normal operation. Red/Flashing = Fault condition (overload, thermal, short).

Input Options

Two input methods provided:

  1. RCA Inputs: Left (white) and Right (red) for line-level audio.
  2. 3.5mm Stereo Jack: For portable devices like smartphones or MP3 players.

Note: Only one input should be connected at a time. The 3.5mm jack has priority if both are connected.

Protection Features

Built-in safeguards protect the module and connected components.

If protection activates, remove fault condition and cycle power to reset.

Thermal Management

Class D design generates minimal heat, but proper cooling is still required.

  1. Ensure adequate airflow around the module.
  2. Do not cover heatsink area or place near other heat sources.
  3. For high-power continuous use, consider adding a small fan.

Tip: Mount vertically if possible to promote convection cooling.

Care & Maintenance

Keep module clean and dry. Use compressed air to remove dust from heatsink.

CAUTION! Disconnect power before cleaning. Do not use liquids or conductive cleaners.
