Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Choose a suitable location for solar charging.

  1. Select Location: Place in direct sunlight, away from shadows.
  2. Deploy Kickstand: Adjust angle to face the sun directly (approx. 30-60 degrees).
  3. Connect to Power Station: Use included DC cable to connect DC output port to Jackery power station input.
  4. Connect Direct to Devices: Use USB-A or USB-C cable to charge phones, tablets, etc.

WARNING! Do not expose to extreme weather (hail, heavy rain). Ensure stable placement to avoid tipping.

First-Time Setup

Unfold panel and prepare for initial use.

  1. Unfold Panel: Lay flat and extend kickstand.
  2. Position for Sun: Aim panel directly at the sun for maximum efficiency.
  3. Connect to Jackery Power Station: Ensure power station is turned on and set to solar charging input.
  4. Check Connection: LED indicator on power station should show charging status.
  5. For Direct USB Charging: Plug device into USB-A or USB-C port; charging begins automatically.

CAUTION! Avoid touching panel surface when hot. Keep away from children and pets.

Specifications

Controls and Settings

No complex controls; automatic operation based on sunlight and connection.

Physical Features: Kickstand (angle adjustment), Port covers (protect DC/USB ports when not in use).

Charging Indicators: Relies on connected device (Jackery power station display or device charging icon) to show status.

Optimal Positioning: Adjust kickstand seasonally: steeper angle in winter, shallower in summer for best performance.

Connecting Devices

DC Output: For Jackery power stations (Explorer 240/500/1000, etc.). USB Outputs: For direct device charging.

  1. Ensure panel is in sunlight and devices are compatible.
  2. Use included or certified cables for connections.
  3. For power stations: Connect DC cable from panel's DC output to power station's DC input.
  4. For USB devices: Plug USB cable into panel's USB-A or USB-C port and device.

Tip: For fastest charging, use DC output to charge power station, then charge devices from power station.

Charging Operation

Supports charging Jackery power stations and direct USB device charging.

  1. Position Panel: Adjust kickstand for maximum sun exposure.
  2. Connect: Attach DC cable to power station or USB cable to device.
  3. Monitor: Check power station display or device screen for charging status.
  4. Disconnect: Unplug cables when charging is complete or when moving panel.
  5. Storage: Fold panel, secure with strap, and store in dry, cool place.

WARNING! Do not attempt to disassemble or modify panel. Do not expose to fire or extreme heat.

Safety Features

Over-current Protection: Automatically limits output to prevent damage. Short-circuit Protection: Safeguards against short circuits. Over-temperature Protection: Reduces output if panel overheats. IP65 Rating: Resistance to dust and water jets.

Care & Cleaning

Disconnect all devices before cleaning. Use soft, damp cloth to wipe surface; avoid abrasive materials.

CAUTION! Do not use chemicals, solvents, or high-pressure water. Store in dry condition.

Troubleshooting

SymptomPossible CauseCorrective Action
No power outputInsufficient sunlight, poor connectionReposition in direct sun; check cable connections; ensure device is on and compatible.
Slow chargingCloudy weather, panel angle, device loadAdjust panel angle; ensure full sun exposure; reduce connected device power draw.
USB device not chargingFaulty cable, port issueTry different cable; test other USB port; check device compatibility.
Power station not recognizing panelWrong cable, input settingUse original Jackery DC cable; ensure power station input is set to solar.
Panel gets very hotNormal operation in sunAllow to cool; efficiency may decrease at high temperatures.

Reset: Disconnect all cables, wait 5 minutes, reconnect.
