Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Choose optimal location with direct sunlight.

1. Mount the bracket: Use included screws to secure bracket to wall or post.
2. Attach Gosun Shield: Slide device onto bracket and tighten locking screw.
3. Position solar panel: Adjust angle to maximize sun exposure (south-facing recommended).
4. Initial charge: Allow device to charge in direct sunlight for 8 hours before first use.

WARNING! Install at height of 7-10 feet for optimal coverage. Ensure mounting surface is stable.

First-Time Setup

Power on device; follow app setup instructions.

1. Download app: Search "Gosun Shield" in Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Create account: Register with email address and create password.
3. Add device: Scan QR code on back of device or enter serial number manually.
4. Connect to Wi-Fi: Select your 2.4GHz network and enter password (5GHz not supported).
5. Configure settings: Set motion detection zones, alert preferences, and recording options.

CAUTION! Keep device within Wi-Fi range during setup. Ensure strong signal strength.
