Pre-Installation Preparation

Choose a suitable location and gather necessary tools.

  1. Locate Wall Studs: Use a stud finder to locate solid wood or metal studs. Mark their centers.
  2. Check Device Compatibility: Verify your device's VESA pattern (e.g., 100x100mm, 200x200mm) matches the bracket.
  3. Plan Cable Routing: Identify paths for power and signal cables from the device to outlets.
  4. Clear the Area: Ensure the workspace is free of obstructions and you have safe access.

WARNING! Mounting to drywall or plaster alone is insufficient. You MUST anchor into wall studs or solid masonry.

Mounting Procedure

Follow these steps in order for secure installation.

  1. Attach Device Plate: Secure the interface plate to the back of your device using the provided screws. Ensure they are tight but do not over-torque.
  2. Position Wall Plate: Hold the wall plate against the wall, aligning it with the marked stud centers. Use the spirit level to ensure it is perfectly horizontal.
  3. Mark Drill Holes: Mark the screw hole locations on the wall through the plate.
  4. Drill Pilot Holes: Drill holes at the marked locations using a drill bit slightly smaller than the provided anchors.
  5. Secure Wall Plate: Insert wall anchors (if not into studs), align the wall plate, and drive the mounting screws firmly into the studs/anchors.
  6. Attach Bracket Arm: Connect the main bracket arm to the secured wall plate. Tighten all pivot and joint screws with the Allen wrench.
  7. Hang the Device: With assistance, lift the device and hook the attached interface plate onto the bracket arm. Engage the safety lock.

CAUTION! The device is heavy. Use two people for lifting and mounting to prevent injury or damage.

Safety and Warnings

Load Specifications

Wall Compatibility

Designed for standard residential and commercial walls.

Supported Walls: Wood Stud (16" or 24" on-center), Concrete, Cinder Block, Brick.

Not Recommended For: Drywall/Plaster alone (without stud anchoring), Lath and Plaster in poor condition, Hollow doors.

Fastener Guide: Use provided lag screws for wood studs. For masonry, use appropriate concrete anchors (not always included).

Device Attachment

Secure your device correctly to the interface plate.

  1. Confirm the screw length is appropriate for your device's mounting holes to avoid damaging internal components.
  2. Use all four (or more) screw points if possible for even weight distribution.
  3. After attaching the plate, gently try to lift the device by the plate to test security before mounting on the bracket.

Tip: Leave a small gap between the device and the interface plate for ventilation if the design allows.

Final Adjustments

Once mounted, make final positioning and safety checks.

  1. Level the Device: Use the spirit level on top of the device. Adjust the tilt mechanism as needed.
  2. Set Viewing Angle: Loosen the tilt adjustment knob, position the device, and re-tighten firmly.
  3. Manage Cables: Route cables through the cable management clips. Ensure no strain on connectors.
  4. Safety Lock: Verify the safety lock on the bracket arm is fully engaged and cannot dislodge accidentally.
  5. Test Stability: Apply gentle pressure in all directions (up, down, side-to-side) to ensure no movement or creaking.

WARNING! Do not over-extend the arm or apply excessive force when adjusting position, as this may damage the bracket or wall.

Care & Maintenance

Inspect and maintain the bracket periodically.

Use a dry cloth to clean the bracket. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Check all screw tightness every six months. Do not hang additional items (e.g., coats, bags) on the bracket or mounted device.

CAUTION! Do not lubricate the joints or mechanisms unless specified. Unauthorized modifications void the warranty.
