Hardware Installation

Mount the encoder in a well-ventilated area.

  1. Mounting: Use brackets to attach to wall or DIN rail.
  2. Video Connection: Connect analog camera to VIDEO IN (BNC).
  3. Audio Connection: Connect microphone to AUDIO IN (RCA).
  4. Network Connection: Connect Ethernet cable to RJ-45 port.
  5. Power Connection: Connect 12V DC adapter to power port.
  6. Alarm I/O: Connect sensors to ALARM IN and outputs to ALARM OUT.

CAUTION! Ensure proper grounding. Use only provided power adapter.

Front/Rear Panel Controls

Front Panel: POWER LED (green), STATUS LED (amber), NETWORK LED (green).

Rear Panel: VIDEO IN (BNC), AUDIO IN (RCA), AUDIO OUT (RCA), ALARM IN (2 terminals), ALARM OUT (1 terminal), ETHERNET (RJ-45), DC 12V POWER, GND terminal.

LED Indicators: POWER (steady on = powered), STATUS (blinking = working, steady = error), NETWORK (blinking = data activity).

Network Configuration

Default IP: 192.168.1.108. Connect directly or via network switch.

  1. Connect PC to same network as encoder.
  2. Set PC IP to same subnet (e.g., 192.168.1.x).
  3. Open web browser, enter encoder IP address.
  4. Login with default credentials (admin/admin).
  5. Configure network settings (IP, gateway, DNS).

Tip: Use the configuration tool (provided on CD) to discover device on network.

Web Interface Setup

Access all settings via web browser.

  1. Login: Enter username and password.
  2. System: Set time, date, device name, user management.
  3. Network: Configure IP, port, PPPoE, DDNS.
  4. Video: Set resolution, frame rate, bit rate, codec.
  5. Audio: Enable/disable, select codec, adjust volume.
  6. Event: Configure motion detection, alarm triggers.
  7. Storage: Set up recording schedule, NAS backup.
  8. Save settings and reboot if prompted.

WARNING! Change default password immediately. Keep firmware updated.

Video & Audio Settings

Optimize video quality for your application.

Video Settings: Resolution (1080p/720p/D1), Frame Rate (1-30 fps), Bit Rate Control (CBR/VBR), Quality (1-6), Mirror/Flip.

Audio Settings: Input Gain, Output Volume, Noise Reduction, Codec Selection.

Stream Settings: Primary Stream (high quality), Secondary Stream (low bandwidth), RTSP port (554 default).

Maintenance & Care

Unplug power before maintenance. Clean with dry, soft cloth.

CAUTION! Do not open casing. No user-serviceable parts inside. Avoid exposure to water, dust, extreme temperatures.
