Safety Precautions

Read all instructions before use. Failure to follow safety guidelines may result in injury or damage.

  1. Electrical Safety: Do not connect to AC mains. Use only with compatible 12V DC systems and devices.
  2. Installation: Place on stable, non-flammable surface. Keep away from water sources except as intended by IP67 rating.
  3. Operation: Avoid looking directly at the sun or reflective panel surface. Do not disassemble the unit.
  4. Children: Keep out of reach of children. This is not a toy.

WARNING! Never short-circuit the output terminals. Do not expose to extreme heat above 158°F (70°C).

Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure all components are present and undamaged.

  1. Positioning: Unfold the panel fully. Use the kickstand to angle the panel directly towards the sun.
  2. Sunlight: For optimal performance, ensure the panel is in direct, unobstructed sunlight.
  3. Connection: Connect your device or battery to the appropriate output port using the provided cables.
  4. Indicator: The integrated LED indicator on the charge controller will light up when the panel is generating power.

CAUTION! Do not bend the panel excessively. Avoid placing heavy objects on the panel surface.

Operation Guide

Power generation begins automatically when the panel is exposed to sunlight and a device is connected.

Using USB Ports: Connect smartphones, tablets, power banks, or USB lights directly. The USB-C port supports Power Delivery for fast charging compatible devices.

Using DC Output: Connect to a 12V battery using the alligator clips (Red to positive, Black to negative). The integrated controller prevents overcharging.

Using with Power Stations: Connect the DC 5521 cable to the DC input of a compatible portable power station.

Performance Note: Actual output power depends on sunlight intensity, angle, temperature, and cloud cover.

Connecting Devices

Ensure the device or battery voltage is compatible (12V nominal for DC output).

  1. Turn off or disconnect the device before connecting, if possible.
  2. Match cables to ports (USB to USB, DC to DC).
  3. For battery charging, connect positive (red) clip first, then negative (black). Disconnect in reverse order.
  4. Check the device or battery indicator to confirm charging has begun.

Tip: For best results, clean the panel surface before use and adjust the angle every few hours to follow the sun.

Maintenance & Storage

Proper care extends the life of your solar panel.

  1. Cleaning: Wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth. Use mild soap if needed. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  2. Inspection: Regularly check cables and connectors for wear or damage.
  3. Storage: Fold the panel neatly. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use for extended periods.
  4. Transport: Use the carrying handle. Avoid sharp objects that could puncture the surface.

CAUTION! Do not immerse the charge controller or connectors in water. Although the panel is IP67, prolonged submersion is not recommended.
