Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure all components are present and undamaged.

  1. Choose Location: Select an open area with direct sunlight, free from shadows.
  2. Unfold Panel: Lay panel flat and extend the kickstand to desired angle.
  3. Connect to Device: Use appropriate cable (USB or DC) to connect your device or power station.
  4. Orient Towards Sun: Adjust kickstand to face panel directly at the sun for optimal output.

WARNING! Do not expose to extreme weather (hail, heavy rain). Ensure stable placement to avoid tipping.

First-Time Use

Before first use, fully charge the connected battery or power station if applicable.

  1. Check Connections: Ensure all cables are securely connected.
  2. Monitor LCD: Verify voltage and current readings on the display.
  3. Device Charging: Connect your device; charging indicator should activate.
  4. Optimize Angle: Adjust panel throughout the day to follow the sun.

CAUTION! Do not look directly at the sun when adjusting panel. Avoid touching panel surface in high heat.

Specifications

Controls and Connections

All controls and status are managed via the integrated charge controller and LCD display.

LCD Display Indicators: Battery Icon (charging status), Sun Icon (solar input), Voltage (V), Current (A), Power (W).

Ports: USB-A (5V/3A), USB-C (PD up to 18W), XT60 (for most power stations), Anderson (for compatible batteries).

Charge Controller Settings: Automatic voltage detection, Over-current protection, Short-circuit protection, Reverse polarity protection.

Connecting Devices

Connect compatible devices using provided or certified cables.

  1. Power Stations/Batteries: Use XT60 or Anderson cable to connect to DC input port.
  2. USB Devices: Use USB-A or USB-C cable for phones, tablets, lights, etc.
  3. Multiple Devices: You can charge one device per port simultaneously.
  4. Check Polarity: Ensure correct polarity when connecting DC devices.

Tip: Use high-quality, short cables to minimize power loss.

Charging Guidelines

For optimal performance and battery health.

  1. Sunlight: Requires direct sunlight. Output reduces significantly in cloudy conditions.
  2. Angle: Keep panel perpendicular to the sun's rays. Adjust every 1-2 hours.
  3. Temperature: Output may decrease in very high temperatures (>113°F/45°C).
  4. Battery Compatibility: Ensure your battery or power station supports solar charging.
  5. Monitoring: Use LCD to ensure proper voltage/current for your device.

WARNING! Do not connect devices that exceed the panel's output specifications. Do not disassemble the panel.

Safety Features

Built-in protections: Over-current, Over-voltage, Short-circuit, Reverse Polarity, Over-temperature. The panel is IP65 rated for dust and water resistance (rain, splashes).

Care & Maintenance

Clean panel surface regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Store in a cool, dry place when not in use. Periodically check cables and connectors for damage.

CAUTION! Do not use harsh chemicals. Do not fold panel when wet. Keep connectors clean and dry.
