Charging the Power Bank

You can recharge the internal 20000mAh battery via wall adapter or solar.

  1. Wall Charging (Recommended for Speed):
    • Use the included USB-C cable and a compatible 5V/3A wall adapter.
    • Connect the cable to the Sunpack's INPUT port.
    • Plug the adapter into a power outlet.
    • The LED indicators will flash in sequence. Charging is complete when all 4 LEDs remain solid.
    • Time: ~8-10 hours from empty.
  2. Solar Charging (For Outdoor Use):
    • Place the Sunpack with the solar panel facing direct sunlight. Ensure no shadows.
    • Optimal angle is perpendicular to the sun's rays.
    • Charging will begin automatically. The LED indicators will flash.
    • Time: Varies greatly with sunlight intensity. A full solar charge may take 20-30+ hours.

WARNING! Do not leave the Sunpack unattended in extreme heat while solar charging. The surface can become very hot.

Charging Your Devices

To charge phones, tablets, or other USB devices:

  1. Ensure the Sunpack's internal battery has sufficient charge (check LED indicator).
  2. Connect your device to one of the OUTPUT ports using its own charging cable.
    • For fastest charging, use the USB-C port if your device supports it.
    • You can charge up to 3 devices simultaneously.
  3. Charging begins automatically. Your device should show its charging icon.
  4. The Sunpack's LED indicators will show the remaining internal battery level.
  5. When finished, disconnect your device.

Tip: For best results, do not use the Sunpack while it is being recharged (via wall or solar).

Using the Solar Panel

The solar panel can directly charge devices or recharge the internal battery.

  1. Direct Device Charging (Trickle Charge):
    • Connect your device to an OUTPUT port.
    • Place the Sunpack in direct, bright sunlight.
    • This provides a slow, steady charge ideal for maintaining a device's battery level outdoors.
    • Note: Direct solar charging is highly dependent on weather and sun angle.
  2. Recharging the Internal Battery:
    • With no device connected, place the Sunpack in sunlight. It will automatically start recharging its internal battery.
    • This is the most efficient way to use solar power, storing energy for later use.

CAUTION! The solar panel is scratch-resistant, not scratch-proof. Avoid abrasive surfaces.

Care & Maintenance

To ensure longevity and performance:

WARNING! Do not attempt to disassemble the unit. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.

Device not charging when connectedFaulty cable; Low Sunpack battery; Port issueTry a different cable. Check Sunpack battery level. Try a different output port. Ensure device is charging-compatible.
Solar panel not chargingInsufficient sunlight; Panel dirty; Angle wrongMove to direct, bright sunlight. Clean the solar panel. Adjust the angle to face the sun directly.
Flashlight not workingButton not held long enough; Battery deadPress and hold the power button for 2 seconds. Recharge the Sunpack.
Sunpack gets very hot during solar chargingNormal in strong sun; Potential overheatMove to a shaded area to cool down. Do not charge in direct, extreme midday sun for prolonged periods.
Slow charging via solarCloudy weather; Suboptimal angleThis is normal. Solar charging is significantly slower than wall charging. Reposition for maximum sun exposure.

Reset: If the unit behaves erratically, fully drain the battery, then recharge it fully via wall adapter.
