Safety Precautions

Always wear appropriate safety gear, including a DOT-approved helmet, eye protection, gloves, long pants, and over-the-ankle boots. Never operate under the influence of alcohol or drugs. This motorcycle is designed for a single rider only; do not carry passengers.

Unpacking & Parts List

Carefully unpack all components from the shipping crate. Inspect for any shipping damage and compare contents with the following list.

WARNING! Do not discard any packing materials until assembly is complete. Report any missing or damaged parts to your dealer immediately.

Assembly Instructions

Basic assembly requires common tools. For complex steps, professional assembly is recommended.

  1. Install Front Wheel: Align wheel with fork dropouts, insert axle, and tighten axle nut to 65 ft-lbs (88 Nm).
  2. Install Handlebars: Place handlebar into clamp on top triple tree. Tighten the four clamp bolts evenly to 18 ft-lbs (24 Nm).
  3. Connect Controls: Route throttle and clutch cables. Connect front brake hose to master cylinder. Ensure all cables move freely without binding.
  4. Install Front Fender: Attach using provided bolts to the fork brace.
  5. Install Seat: Align seat with frame mounts and push down until latch engages.
  6. Final Checks: Inflate tires to recommended pressure (22 PSI front / 25 PSI rear). Check all fasteners for tightness.

CAUTION! Overtightening bolts can strip threads. Use a torque wrench when specified.

Controls & Instrument Panel

Familiarize yourself with all controls before starting the engine.

Left Handlebar: Clutch lever, Horn button, Turn signal switch, High/Low beam switch.

Right Handlebar: Front brake lever, Engine kill switch, Electric start button, Throttle control.

Instrument Panel: Speedometer, Odometer/Trip meter, Neutral indicator light, Turn signal indicators, High beam indicator.

Key Controls: Ignition switch (OFF/ON), Steering lock, Fuel tank cap.

First-Time Operation

  1. Fueling: Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87. Do not overfill.
  2. Starting: Turn ignition ON. Ensure transmission is in NEUTRAL (green light on). Pull choke (if cold). Press the electric start button.
  3. Riding: Pull clutch lever, shift into first gear using the gear shift lever. Release clutch smoothly while applying slight throttle.
  4. Stopping: Apply both brakes evenly. Downshift as you slow down. Come to a complete stop and shift into neutral.

Tip: Practice basic maneuvers (starting, stopping, turning) in a safe, open area before riding in traffic.

  1. Fill fuel tank and add a fuel stabilizer. Run engine for 5 minutes to circulate treated fuel.
  2. Change engine oil and filter.
  3. Remove battery, clean terminals, and store in a cool, dry place on a trickle charger.
  4. Inflate tires to maximum recommended pressure and place the bike on a stand to lift tires off the ground.
  5. Cover the motorcycle with a breathable, fitted cover.
