Assembly & Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Assembly requires basic tools.

  1. Attach handles: Align handle sections and secure with provided bolts.
  2. Install discharge chute: Slide chute into position and secure with knob.
  3. Attach auger control cable: Connect cable to handle lever and auger mechanism.
  4. Install battery: Insert fully charged 56V battery into battery compartment.
  5. Check all fasteners: Ensure all bolts and connections are tight.

WARNING! Do not install battery until assembly is complete. Keep hands clear of auger during assembly.

Controls and Operation

Main controls located on handle assembly. Always start with battery removed.

Handle Controls: Power switch, auger control lever, drive control lever, chute direction knob, chute deflector control.

Operation Steps:

  1. Insert fully charged battery into compartment until it clicks.
  2. Press and hold safety key, then press power button.
  3. Squeeze auger control lever to engage auger rotation.
  4. Press drive control lever forward to move machine forward.
  5. Adjust speed using variable speed dial on handle.
  6. Rotate discharge chute using direction knob.
  7. Adjust discharge angle using deflector control.

Tip: For heavy snow, use slower forward speed. For light snow, faster speed increases efficiency.

Battery & Charging

Uses Ego 56V ARC Lithium™ batteries. Charger sold separately.

  1. Charging: Use only Ego approved charger. Insert battery into charger.
  2. Charging time: 7.5Ah battery charges in approximately 60 minutes.
  3. Battery gauge: Press button on battery to check charge level.
  4. Storage: Store battery in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  5. Temperature: Charge between 32°F and 104°F (0°C and 40°C).

CAUTION! Do not use damaged batteries. Do not expose battery to water or fire.

Maintenance & Storage

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. After each use: Clean snow and debris from auger housing and chute.
  2. Check fasteners: Tighten any loose bolts or screws.
  3. Auger inspection: Check for damage or wear before each season.
  4. Lubrication: Apply silicone spray to chute rotation mechanism periodically.
  5. Off-season storage: Remove battery, clean thoroughly, store in dry location.
