Installation & Setup

Unfold the panel on a stable, flat surface. Ensure the area is clear of shadows and debris.

  1. Unfold Panel: Lay the panel flat and extend the kickstand on the back.
  2. Position for Sun: Adjust the kickstand to tilt the panel directly towards the sun.
  3. Connect Cable: Retrieve the MC4 to XT60 (or applicable) cable from the storage pouch.
  4. Connect to Power Station: Plug the MC4 end into the panel's output port. Plug the other end (XT60) into the solar input port of your compatible Ecoflow power station.
  5. Power On: Turn on your power station. It should automatically detect the solar input.

WARNING! Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the panel. Avoid contact with water on the connectors.

First-Time Use

For optimal first charge, ensure full sunlight and correct connection.

  1. Check Compatibility: Verify your power station supports solar input and the voltage/current is within its specified range.
  2. Initial Connection: Connect the panel to the power station BEFORE exposing the panel to full sunlight.
  3. Monitor Input: On your power station's screen, check that the solar input watts (W) are being registered.
  4. Maximize Sun Exposure: Reposition the panel every 1-2 hours to follow the sun for best results.

CAUTION! The panel surface can get hot in direct sunlight. Handle with care.

Specifications

Controls and Connections

The panel has no electronic controls. Power regulation is handled by the connected power station.

Physical Components: MC4 Output Port, Kickstand, Carry Handle, Cable Storage Pouch.

Connection Process: Always connect cable to power station FIRST, then to the solar panel. Disconnect in reverse order (panel first, then power station).

Indicator: No LED indicator on the panel. Check the input reading on your power station's display to confirm operation.

Connecting to Power Stations

Compatible with most power stations featuring a solar input port that accepts 12-24V DC.

  1. Identify Port: Locate the "Solar Input" or "DC Input" port on your power station.
  2. Use Correct Cable: Use the included MC4 to XT60 cable for Ecoflow stations. For other brands, you may need an MC4 to the appropriate connector (e.g., Anderson, DC5521).
  3. Secure Connection: Push connectors together until they click. Ensure they are fully seated and weather caps are removed.
  4. Sequence: Connect to Power Station -> Connect to Solar Panel -> Expose to Sun.

Tip: If no power is detected, double-check all connections are secure and the power station is turned on.

Optimal Positioning & Performance

Performance depends entirely on sunlight intensity and angle.

  1. Time of Day: Peak sun hours are between 10 AM and 4 PM.
  2. Angle: Adjust the kickstand so the panel faces the sun directly (perpendicular to sun rays).
  3. Clearance: Ensure no shadows from trees, buildings, or objects fall on the panel.
  4. Clean Surface: Wipe the panel surface with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust or dirt.
  5. Temperature: Output decreases slightly in very high temperatures (>40°C/104°F).
  6. Realistic Output: Expect 60-90W in ideal, real-world conditions. 110W is a laboratory maximum.

WARNING! Do not place objects on the panel surface. Do not step on it.

Safety Features

Reverse Polarity Protection: Built into the cable/connectors to prevent damage from incorrect connection. Over-Current/Voltage Protection: Managed by the connected power station. Weather Resistance: IP67 rated panel (connectors are not waterproof when connected).

Care & Storage

Clean with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a damp cloth with mild soap. Dry immediately.

Storage: Fold the panel neatly. Store the cable in the integrated pouch. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.

CAUTION! Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or high-pressure water. Do not fold when wet.
