Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure all components are present and undamaged.

  1. Choose Location: Select an area with direct, unobstructed sunlight. Avoid shaded areas.
  2. Unfold Panel: Lay the solar charger flat or use the integrated kickstand to angle towards the sun.
  3. Secure Position: Use the included carry bag or stakes (not included) in windy conditions to prevent movement.
  4. Connect Device: Use appropriate USB cable to connect your device to either USB-A or USB-C port.

WARNING! Do not expose to extreme temperatures beyond operating range. Keep away from water sources beyond IPX4 rating.

First-Time Setup

Position the charger and connect your device for initial use.

  1. Angle Adjustment: Adjust kickstand to achieve optimal sun exposure (typically 30-45 degrees).
  2. Check Indicator: LED should illuminate solid or blinking to indicate power generation.
  3. Device Connection: Connect your device using manufacturer-recommended cable.
  4. Monitor Charging: Device should indicate charging begins within 30 seconds under good sunlight.

CAUTION! Ensure the solar panel surface is clean and free of obstructions for maximum efficiency.

Specifications

Controls and Indicators

Simple operation with LED status indicator only. No physical buttons for power control.

LED Indicator Status:

Note: Charging begins automatically when device is connected and sufficient sunlight is available.

Connecting Devices

Compatible with most USB-chargeable devices including smartphones, tablets, cameras, GPS units, and power banks.

  1. Use manufacturer-provided or high-quality USB cables.
  2. For fast charging compatible devices, use the USB-C port with appropriate cable.
  3. Connect only one device per port. For two devices simultaneously, both ports can be used but total output will be shared (max 36W).
  4. Ensure device is turned on or in a chargeable state (some devices may need wake-up).

Tip: For best results, charge power banks during the day, then use power banks to charge devices at night.

Charging Operation

Optimal charging requires direct sunlight and proper positioning.

  1. Positioning: Adjust angle throughout the day to follow the sun's path for maximum exposure.
  2. Weather Considerations: Output reduces under cloudy conditions. No output at night.
  3. Charging Time: Varies based on sunlight intensity, device battery capacity, and simultaneous usage.
  4. Efficiency Tips: Keep panel clean, avoid shadows, position at optimal angle (latitude dependent).
  5. Storage: Fold and store in dry, cool place when not in use for extended periods.

WARNING! Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the charger. No user-serviceable parts inside.

Safety Features

Built-in protections ensure safe operation under various conditions.

Important: This charger is for outdoor use only. Not intended for permanent installation.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care extends product life and maintains efficiency.

  1. Cleaning: Use soft, damp cloth to wipe panel surface. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  2. Storage: Fold neatly and store in included carry bag in dry environment.
  3. Inspection: Regularly check cables and ports for damage. Do not use if damaged.
  4. Long-term Storage: Store with 50-70% charge in battery-powered devices if using as backup.

CAUTION! Do not submerge in water. IPX4 rating protects against splashes only.
