Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure vehicle is in a safe, well-ventilated area.

  1. Locate OBD2 port: Typically under dashboard near steering column.
  2. Connect scanner: Plug OBD2 cable into vehicle port and scanner unit.
  3. Power on vehicle: Turn ignition to ON position (engine may be off).
  4. Scanner boot-up: Unit will power on automatically from vehicle.

WARNING! Do not connect or disconnect scanner while vehicle is running. Ensure parking brake is engaged.

First-Time Setup

Power on scanner; follow on-screen prompts.

Reading & Clearing Codes

  1. Read Codes: Select READ CODES from main menu. Scanner will retrieve and display all stored DTCs.
  2. View Details: Select a code to see description and possible causes.
  3. Freeze Frame: View snapshot of vehicle parameters when code was set.
  4. Clear Codes: Select CLEAR CODES to erase codes and reset MIL. Confirm when prompted.
  5. Verify Clear: Perform new code scan to confirm codes are cleared.

WARNING! Clearing codes will erase freeze frame data and reset readiness monitors. Only clear after diagnosis.

Data Streaming & Monitoring

Real-time monitoring of vehicle parameters and sensor data.

  1. Select DATA STREAM from main menu.
  2. Choose parameters to monitor (RPM, Speed, Coolant Temp, O2 Sensor, etc.).
  3. View data in numerical or graphical format.
  4. Record data for analysis (manual recording only).
  5. Exit streaming mode to return to main menu.

Note: Not all parameters available on all vehicles. Availability depends on vehicle make and protocol.

Care & Maintenance

Store in protective case when not in use. Keep connectors clean and dry.

Cleaning: Use dry, soft cloth only. Do not use liquids or compressed air on connectors.
