  4. Check O-rings: Ensure all seals are clean, lubricated, and properly seated before underwater use.

WARNING! Do not use if O-rings are damaged or missing. Always test in shallow water first.

First-Time Use

Power on the light and familiarize yourself with controls before underwater deployment.

  1. Power on: Press and hold power button for 2 seconds until indicator lights illuminate.
  2. Select mode: Press mode button to cycle through Low, Medium, High, and Strobe settings.
  3. Check battery: Observe battery indicator LEDs (4 LEDs = full, 1 LED = low).
  4. Test underwater: Submerge in controlled environment to check for leaks and proper operation.

CAUTION! Never open the battery compartment underwater. Ensure unit is dry before opening.

Specifications

Controls and Operation

Control Panel: Power button, Mode button, Battery indicator LEDs.

Operation Sequence: Press power button to turn on/off. Press mode button to cycle through settings: Low (25%) → Medium (50%) → High (100%) → Strobe → SOS.

Battery Indicator: 4 LEDs indicate charge level (75-100% = 4 LEDs, 50-75% = 3 LEDs, 25-50% = 2 LEDs, 10-25% = 1 LED, <10% = flashing red).

Strobe Mode: Flashing pattern for signaling or attention. SOS Mode: Emergency distress signal pattern.

Connecting to Camera Systems

Compatible with most underwater camera housings and video rigs.

  1. Turn off all equipment before connecting.
  2. Attach mounting bracket to camera housing using included screws.
  3. Slide light onto bracket and secure with locking lever.
  4. Adjust angle: Loosen ball head, position light, then retighten.
  5. For multiple lights: Use additional brackets to create lighting array.

Tip: Position light at 45-degree angle to subject for optimal illumination with minimal backscatter.

Charging & Battery Management

Use only the provided charging dock and power adapter.

  1. Charging: Place light on charging dock, connect to 5V/2A power source.
  2. Charging indicator: Red LED = charging, Green LED = fully charged.
  3. Battery care: Charge fully before first use. Store with 50% charge if not used for extended periods.
  4. Battery replacement: Contact authorized service center for battery replacement.

WARNING! Do not charge underwater. Use only in dry conditions. Do not use damaged charging equipment.

Safety Features

Overheat Protection: Automatically reduces brightness if temperature exceeds safe limits. Low Voltage Protection: Automatically shuts off when battery is critically low to prevent damage. Water Detection: Some models include moisture detection sensors. Pressure Relief Valve: Prevents pressure buildup during depth changes.

Care & Maintenance

Rinse with fresh water after each saltwater use. Dry completely before storage. Lubricate O-rings with silicone grease every 10 dives or as needed. Store in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

CAUTION! Never use petroleum-based lubricants on O-rings. Do not expose to temperatures above 50°C (122°F).
