Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Mount in suitable location near gate.

  1. Mount enclosure: Use provided brackets on stable surface near gate operator.
  2. Connect solar panel: Connect PV cables to SOLAR +/- terminals observing polarity.
  3. Connect battery: Attach battery cables to BAT +/- terminals (12V or 24V system).
  4. Connect gate motor: Wire motor to MOTOR1 and MOTOR2 terminals per diagram.
  5. Connect safety devices: Wire photocells to SAFETY IN terminals.
  6. Connect antenna: Attach supplied antenna to ANT connector.

WARNING! Disconnect all power sources before installation. Ensure all connections are secure and protected from moisture.

First-Time Setup

Power on unit; follow programming sequence.

  1. Initial power-up: Connect battery first, then solar panel. LED should illuminate.
  2. Set gate type: Press SET + - buttons to select swing or sliding gate mode.
  3. Set travel limits: Manually move gate to fully closed position, press SET. Move to fully open, press SET.
  4. Program remotes: Press LEARN button, then press remote button within 30 seconds.
  5. Adjust parameters: Set opening/closing speed, obstacle detection sensitivity.
  6. Test operation: Use remote to test complete cycle.

CAUTION! Ensure gate area is clear during programming. Keep hands clear of moving parts.

Specifications

Controls and Settings

Access programming via SET and +/- buttons. Front Panel: Power LED (green), Charge LED (yellow), Fault LED (red), Radio LED (blue).

Remote Control: OPEN/CLOSE, STOP, PARTIAL OPEN, LIGHT.

Programming Menu: Gate type (swing/sliding), Travel limits, Opening/closing speed, Obstacle detection sensitivity, Auto-close timer (1-60 seconds), Partial open position, Remote learning, Factory reset.

Connecting Devices

Solar Panel: SOLAR +/- terminals. Battery: BAT +/- terminals. Motor: MOTOR1/MOTOR2. Safety: SAFETY IN terminals. Accessories: AUX1/AUX2 relays.

  1. Turn off all power before connecting.
  2. Use appropriate wire gauge (min 2.5mm² for motor, 1.5mm² for control).
  3. Ensure waterproof connections for outdoor wiring.
  4. Connect safety devices in series for normally closed loop.

Tip: Install surge protection on solar input in areas with lightning risk.

Programming and Operation

Supports manual, remote, and automatic operation modes.

  1. Manual operation: Use key release for manual gate movement during power failure.
  2. Remote operation: Press OPEN/CLOSE on remote for full cycle.
  3. Partial open: Program intermediate position for pedestrian access.
  4. Auto-close: Set timer for automatic closing after opening.
  5. Obstacle detection: Gate reverses upon detecting obstruction.
  6. Battery management: Unit maintains optimal charge, protects from over-discharge.
  7. Winter mode: Reduces motor power consumption in cold conditions.

WARNING! Test obstacle detection regularly. Never attempt to force gate during automatic operation.

Safety Features

Obstacle Detection: Reverses upon resistance detection. Safety Inputs: Stops operation if photocell beam broken. Manual Release: Mechanical override for emergencies. Battery Protection: Prevents deep discharge damage. Emergency Stop: Immediate stop via STOP button.

Care & Maintenance

Monthly inspection recommended. Clean solar panel surface. Check battery terminals for corrosion. Verify safety device operation. Lubricate gate moving parts as needed.

CAUTION! Disconnect power before maintenance. Use only dry cloth for cleaning electronics.
