Controls & Operation

Handset Controls: Trigger (variable speed), Pattern dial, Power/Battery indicator button.

Operation Steps:

  1. Ensure safety lock is disengaged.
  2. Turn pattern dial to desired setting (icons for round, horizontal, vertical).
  3. Hold handset 6-8 inches from surface, perpendicular for even coverage.
  4. Press trigger smoothly to start spray, move arm steadily across surface.
  5. Release trigger at the end of each pass to avoid buildup.
  6. Use the power button to check battery status (LED color code).

Tip: Practice on cardboard to get a feel for trigger control and pattern width before starting your project.

Loading Paint & Material Compatibility

Compatible with most water-based and solvent-based paints, stains, lacquers, and primers when properly thinned.

  1. Stir and thin material according to manufacturer's instructions. Use a viscosity cup if unsure.
  2. Turn handset upside down and unscrew the paint cup counterclockwise.
  3. Fill cup no more than 3/4 full to allow for proper airflow and mixing.
  4. Reattach cup securely by turning clockwise until hand-tight.
  5. Invert unit and gently shake to mix paint in the fluid path.

WARNING! Never use materials containing abrasives or fibers. Always test compatibility in a small batch first.

Spray Techniques & Patterns

For best results, maintain consistent distance, speed, and overlap.

  1. Round Pattern: For detail work, stenciling, or small areas. Use fine or medium nozzle.
  2. Horizontal Fan: For horizontal surfaces like siding, decks, or table tops. Adjust width as needed.
  3. Vertical Fan: For doors, cabinets, and walls. Keep passes parallel.
  4. Overlap: Overlap each pass by 30-50% for even coverage without stripes.
  5. Triggering: Start moving before pulling trigger, and release trigger before stopping movement.

Tip: For thin coats, use faster arm speed and/or reduce material flow. Multiple thin coats are better than one thick coat.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Clean immediately after every use to prevent clogs and damage.

  1. Empty any remaining material from the cup into appropriate waste container.
  2. Fill cup 1/4 with appropriate cleaner (water for latex, thinner for oil-based).
  3. Reattach cup, shake gently, and spray cleaner through system until it runs clear.
  4. Remove cup and nozzle. Use cleaning brush and needle tool to clear any residue from nozzle tip and fluid path.
  5. Wipe exterior with a damp cloth. Allow all parts to air dry before storage.
  6. Store with battery partially charged (50-70%) if not used for extended periods.

CAUTION! Never immerse the handset or battery in liquid. Avoid getting moisture in battery compartment.

Safety & Warnings

Always wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

FIRST AID: If material contacts eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting—call a poison control center.
