Safety Information

Read all instructions before installation and operation. Ensure all users and attendants are trained.

  1. User Safety: Always use the provided seat belt. Ensure user is centered on the seat before operation.
  2. Installation Safety: Verify the deck area is level, stable, and meets minimum size requirements. Anchor the lift securely according to instructions.
  3. Electrical Safety: Connect the grounding lug to the pool's bonding grid. Keep the control panel and charger dry. Do not operate during electrical storms.
  4. Operational Safety: Do not exceed the 300 lb weight capacity. Do not allow children to operate the lift unattended. Keep clear of moving parts.

WARNING! Failure to follow safety instructions can result in serious injury or death. This lift is not a toy.

Installation Instructions

Assemble and install the lift on a solid, level deck surface adjacent to the pool.

  1. Unpack and Inspect: Check all parts against the packing list. Inspect for shipping damage.
  2. Assemble Frame: Connect the base frame sections using the provided bolts and wrenches. Do not fully tighten until the frame is square.
  3. Attach Upright and Boom: Bolt the upright column to the base. Attach the lifting boom to the top of the column.
  4. Install Seat and Hydraulics: Connect the seat assembly to the boom. Connect the hydraulic hoses to the pump and cylinder.
  5. Secure to Deck: Position the lift so the seat travels over the pool edge. Anchor the base using concrete anchors (not included) suitable for your deck material.
  6. Electrical Connection: Connect the green grounding wire from the lift's lug to the pool's common bonding grid.
  7. Final Check: Ensure all bolts are tight. Test the lift's range of motion without a user to verify clear path.

CAUTION! Installation requires two adults. Ensure the lift cannot tip or slide during use.

Specifications

Controls and Operation

Operation is via the waterproof control panel located on the upright. Familiarize all users with controls before first use.

Control Panel Buttons:

Operating Sequence:

  1. Ensure user is seated comfortably with seat belt fastened and feet on the footrest.
  2. Pump the UP handle to raise the user clear of the deck.
  3. Rotate the seat 90 degrees toward the water.
  4. Slowly open the DOWN release valve to lower the user into the water.
  5. Once in the water, use the FORWARD/REVERSE buttons to move away from the wall.
  6. To exit, drive to the wall, raise the seat, rotate back to deck, and lower.

Charging the Battery

The integrated battery must be charged regularly for optimal performance.

  1. Locate the charger port on the control panel or base.
  2. Plug the included charger into a standard 120V AC, grounded outlet.
  3. Connect the charger plug to the lift's charging port. A red LED on the charger indicates charging.
  4. A full charge takes approximately 8-12 hours. The LED may turn green or amber when complete.
  5. Disconnect the charger from the lift first, then from the wall outlet.

Tip: Charge the battery after every use or at least once a month during the season. For long-term storage, charge fully before storing.

Routine Maintenance

Perform these checks monthly and at the start of each season.

CAUTION! Only use cleaners compatible with aluminum and plastics. Do not use abrasive pads or harsh chemicals.

Storage & Winterization

If the lift will not be used for an extended period (e.g., winter), prepare it for storage.

  1. Fully charge the battery.
  2. Thoroughly clean and rinse the entire lift with fresh water; allow to dry completely.
  3. Apply a light coat of lubricant to all metal moving parts to prevent corrosion.
  4. If possible, disassemble the lift according to the assembly instructions in reverse.
  5. Store all components in a dry, indoor location, protected from freezing temperatures and moisture.
  6. If storing assembled, cover with a breathable tarp. Do not use plastic sheeting that traps moisture.
