Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Choose optimal locations for sensor and console.

  1. Sensor Placement: Mount outdoors in open area, 5 ft (1.5m) above ground, away from obstructions.
  2. Console Placement: Place indoors within range, away from heat sources and electronics.
  3. Sensor Assembly: Attach anemometer, rain gauge, and wind vane to sensor body.
  4. Mounting: Use included hardware to secure sensor to pole or eave.
  5. Power: Insert batteries into sensor; plug console into AC outlet.

WARNING! Avoid mounting near metal structures or under trees to ensure accurate readings. Ensure sensor is level.

First-Time Setup

Power on console and sensor; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Sensor Detection: Console will automatically search for sensor signal (may take 3-5 minutes).
  2. Time/Date Setup: Atomic clock will auto-set; manual override available in settings.
  3. Unit Preferences: Set temperature (°F/°C), wind speed (mph/kph/knots), rain (in/mm).

  4. Link your console to your MyAcurite account using provided code.
